After reading the description of the bike, I would have to say the owner isnt trying to decieve anyone on the authenticity of machine. I agree the bike has very few origonal 36 parts on it. Even the title issues can be traced to replacement cases stamped at the factory. I have a friend that is in possession of a set of 37 E cases that are long ribbed 1940 and later cases but have 37 E 17XX serial # and matching 37 belly numbers. And an origanal title. I think it was fairly common for the weak short rib cases to have failed and been replaced by later casting. The bike is overpriced at 25,000.
