With super E and superstock ign. Starts on first when Cold after three prime kicks but hard to start hot. From factory it had .028 and .068 i guess to start easy without foul the plugs. Now I got .031 and 072. Runns great but hard to start hot.
Any ideas of jetting (I have followed the S&S adjustments) but still hard to start. Ign is set right from the factory. Or any ideas of hot starting procidure? Thanks
Hi Johan, I would just keep experimenting with different procedures until you find one that works, Have you tried opening the throttle about 1/8 to 1/4? What happens when you hold it wide open for a few kicks? I found my spit and sputter carb hard to start when the jets were on the rich side. approach it like a flooded engine and see what happens.
