knuckle top gaskets

Does anyone produce an improved knuckle top rocker gasket? All I have seen are the original paper type. Mine seem to seal OK for a few thousand miles and then start back leaking.

Re: knuckle top gaskets

The utmost care in aligning edges of your tins might help. Also take care to assure that the drain system is not clogged. Rear exhaust tin drain tubings have a tendency to carbon up if there is a vacuum leak.

John
I found these on line. Has anyone had any experience?

The following is from their web site and their description of what they are.

$40.00

A first in the world of knucklehead gaskets is our FMA 1/16 high quality cork rocker tin gasket sets. 70 year-old rocker tins have seen better days and since there are only paper gaskets available until now, they have always been prone to leaking.
Pop your rocker tins off, clean both surfaces, Gaska-Cinche them, install, be done with leaks!
