Beehive tail light location

I'm putting my knuckle back together,Can any one give me a measurement from the end of the fender to the bottom of the beehive tail light? Thanks Scrap

First lets figure out which tail light you are calling a Bee Hive. Tho lens on the left is what H-D called the Bee Hive. The 1939-1946 type on the right was mis-identified as a Beehive by Easyrider mag back in the '70's and the name has stuck.

I did not know that. I have the one on the right going on a 41 FL. Thanks for clearing that up for me all these years I assumed that my tail light was a beehive. I'm new to this forum and it has been a very informative and interesting forum.
