S&S Knuckleheads.....outstanding !

Well,as I said a few days ago,I ordered a set of "SHOP READY" S&S Knuckleheads.....they came in today and all I can say is it was money well spent !.....the quality is apparent in every area.....can't wait to put 'em on and see how they perform.....the old '47 should breathe a little easier now .................................."SHOOTER"

...My question...these 'Shop Ready' Knuckle head replacements....are they available from S&S?....All I see on their site is the complete 93" motor...and do they use the original Knuckle bolt pattern?
I'm presently running the 93" sidewinder (3-5/8"X4-1/2") with the S&S 'Panhead' cylinders, and modified heads for the flame ring and one bolt hole moved....Front head cracked through exhaust valve hard seat...so I'm looking for heads/cylinders...prefer S&S if they are available?

Go to the top of this page, and look under "Products" and then click on "Catalogs" ... Download the "Flathead Power" catalog ... look on page 58 or 59 and you will find the listing for Knucklehead heads ... No price, but there is a part number.

I don't know if S&S has improved the FHP stuff. With the FHP heads you must use the FHP diecast tins. They ain't pretty.

Flathead Power cylinder heads are compatible with stock knucklehead style
valve cover tins as well as Flathead Power lower covers. To make it easy to use
either style lower valve spring cover, these heads can be supplied without the
valve guide installed. If using stock style tins the valve guide must be pressed
in with the cover in place. If using Flathead Power lower cover, the valve guide
can be pressed in without the lower cover installed.
