Who can identify this rider? He is a well known motorcycle legend.

Now for the rest of the story of how the photo was found.
Jerry Hatfield puts it this way, "I bought the postcard picture today almost by accident. I had an errand to do on South Collins Street in Arlington, Texas. I stopped by a collectibles shop that I've long since dismissed as not worth the drive. But today the shop was on my way, so I figured what the heck? I knew as soon as I saw this picture that the rider was Tom. This has made my day!"

Jerry goes on to say, He E mailed Toms daughter Jean
"Hi Jean,
So, may I tell others that you confirm this is a picture of your Dad? There are several features that confirm this for me: hair line, ears, nose, chin, mouth -- everything really -- that I've seen in other pictures of Tom.

Jean's reply to jerry,
That sure looks like him!!! Much younger than most of my pictures of him and less weight. Maybe before he married my mom??? Thank you soooo much, Enjoy, Jean
