Turbo Flatty takes 5 LSR's at Maxton, congrats Brewdude!

Getting the fuel mixture adjusted first along with playing with the timing. Rethinking the turbo and going to switch to a GT12, this one is way to big and never did get a healthy spin. Gearing is high, shifting into to 4th at 70 mph and then a slow speed up althoughit is just starting to speed up at the mile mark.

Years ago Tom at Rodan Cycles in CA was building a land speed record attempt flathead. I never heard if he finished it or not. He sold the shop (divorce) and went into the private sector.

I just spoke to a friend who told me Tom turned 149.+ at Bonneville on his Flathead. This was 10-15 years ago

I have no contact with Rodan. he works in a private shiop in Sierra Madre, CA these days.
I pay other people to make seats and tanks for me when I need one.

What kinda private shop is he working in these days?

Private as in Not Open To The Public. Restoring old cars and bikes.
