really, no Harley content at all as such, but yesterday I travelled from Sovetskaya Gavan to Khabarovsk - about 500km of some of the wildest country in the Russian Far East, like Oregon or British Columbia. Tarmac roads, gravel roads, dirt roads; some still under construction like scenes from "How The West Was Won". If I was writing a specification for a bike for those roads, I'd say a medium-weight V-twin with an engine in the 40-45" size range and 18" or 19" wheels would be bang on. Makes you realise why the 45" flathead was such a popular bike for H-D and Indian for so many years, and why the Honda Trans-Alp has been so successful in recent years
Shoot, a man could have a good weekend in Dallas with all that stuff...
