As a bit of light relief from the technical side of things, here's a few pics from a rally my wife and I attended this weekend.
My wife is Indian crazy, a legacy from her great-grandpa who owned a Chief outfit. We don't get many opportunities this side of the Atlantic to enjoy this sort of thing, so since it was only 40 miles from our home we decided to go.
Needless to say, the 45 let the side down by losing its sprocket nut after 20 miles, so it was sent back to bed in disgrace and the "rubber" Sporty was pressed into service. Despite this we had a wonderful time; I was reunited with a few old friends (including the black & white 45 which was mine for 5 years) and made a good many new ones too.

I should add by the way that the fire truck refers to our friend Patrick A.K.A. French Owl. I'll leave him to explain why this is, but it involves his XRTT and a rather tatty leather jacket!
