Purchased this one off e-bay awhile back, figure i been had as the seller failed to photo or mention the very thin wall of the exhaust port , so whats your opinions, useable or a doorstop ? thanks, Tim
Measure the ID and compare to the other cyl if the offset one is big, machine round it and sleave it drill and pin it on the thicker side in two spots. I would stay away from any welding, except a a good spray welder but ther few and far between thewres alot of hacks out there with spray weld set ups.
I agree with MB, however check to see if any exhaust pipe angles are going to be changed or similar due to the off-centre whatever-it-is that's going on there, as it may affect bracketry etc depending on severity! Perhaps go easy on tightening the clamp, and shim/sleeve the spigot if required?
The rest of it looks pretty good IMO - worth hanging on to at least until you find your "welder/machinist extraordinaire" guy.
