she's a little down on her luck for now, but good days are just around the corner! began a new project for my 50th b-day last month. it's a '56 khk and hope to have her back to her glory days soon. comments or suggestions are always welcome. . .56k

Looks like a great time ahead with a sponge and some soapy water!
It will be interesting to see what it looks like under all of the dust, and hopefully it will have protected the finish somewhat.
It looks like it has been taken some way away from stock - will you be restoring, or just get it running and enjoying?

I would say that with a period custom like that, as good as it appears to be on first glance, keep it the way it is; but if you restore it, don't put new paint on old custom parts, go for a restoration
