K model tail lamp "bullet"

Does anyone have a unrestored original K model.I have a question about the tail lamp. Thanks......Mutt

I need to know if the red lens has "H-D 125" embossed on the nose of the red lens (it has the same part # as the 125/165 lens) and also if the hood has 3 rivets or is spotwelded.

I have a couple of NOS hoods that are riveted. I also have an original 1951 125 that has the riveted hood. What I am trying to determine is when the hood went from riveted to spotwelded (or visa versa)
The vast majority of the hoods I have seen are spotwelded
Any ideas?

I'll try to look tonight and snap a few pictures if i can get over there. It's colder then a witches ....... here in Ma. so my camera may not work well

I'm only the 3rd reg owner of my 52 but it has had some paint work in the past but i'd think the lamp would be OE.

I looked tonight and I can see the HD 125 cast into the glass.
could not get it to show up in the pic but you can make out the 25 in one of them.
It's all bolt together on mine.

can ya shoot a pic of the underside of the bullet (hood) where the hood bolts onto the nracket?
