KR

Hi guys, just picked up a 57 KR. It is absolutely all there and in fantastic shape. I'm going to need to rebuild the bottom end!!! Can anyone point me in the right direction. I need a crank pin with rollers and cages. Races look good on the rods. I also need a sprocket shaft. Can anyone tell me if there were cam bearing plugs in the case behind the cams like the WR. If you go on ebay and do search for seller 1thumper63 send him a message and see if he has them.He has alot of NOS and is good to deal with.

hi nice find. no plugs in cases. easten and jims did make pins and shafts. on rollers very hard to find as i know no one ever made them aftermarket. rollers r same as kr xlr xr 750. 5/16 rollers. u need to measure rods to see what size u need. i have been racing krs xlrs since 1965. still do in vintage class. have a friend who had shats and pins made. hope u the best

I've got 3 XR crank pins, end plugs, cages, and a large assortment of rollers of various sizes. All NOS. Also, have two sets of used KR rods without races. Would consider selling all.
