1st post!

Hi Gang

Looks like I'm the 1st to post in the new forum.

PS: rode in a "Make a Wish Foundation" ride this past sunday put on 125 miles! and 1 quart of oil.

1st post

Well, that's a good looking K. I am looking for some one out west, with the necessary tools, and abilities to recon one of these. We had a whole wall full of "special factory tools" when I worked in a HD shop in the '60s, but most are gone, and not very many guys around remember how to work on K models. Parts are another item. Not much out there in repop land.

The only one I know is on the east coast and Frank is moving at this time and has no time to work on them. He's forgot alot untill he see's it in hand, then it floods in.

As for parts there out there but $$.

Whip has some parts but he's hard to get a hold of and loves to talk so if you call have the time to talk. :wink: Never met the man but would like too.
