Need a decent front tire 3.50 / 18" for a K-Mod , the pickings are slim, prefer to stay away from chen shit shin or the like if possible, any help is appreciated, thanks, Tim
I use modern tires, though you could put Dunlop K's on it.
I am running an Metzler ME 33 Lazer 100x90 V18 on the front, and a ME 77 Perfect 4.00 18 on the rear. I have progressive springs in the front, and aftermarket full covered shocks in the rear. It handles quite nicely. I used to enjoy dusting mid seventies 4 cylinder Japanese bikes in the corners. “Follow me, and be brave!” I am getting a little less aggressive in my older years though, and after two accidents, will likely mellow even more....My peg rubbers do get a little warn on the bottom though.
The tires are all black, so from a distance they look kind of stock, though the front is a little lower profile than stock, and the rear is much bigger than stock, but I like it that way. I have run the Dunlops on it, but I eat them up too fast!

Not completely like a stock tire, but it is good enough so that you can’t see from one side to the other and no one ever bitched about it but Trailer Queen types. I ride, that is what it is all about. I think that has happened once.
When I finished my bike 15 years ago, one of the Mechanics at a Harley shop I went to said, "Man you should buy another bike to ride so you don't ware this one out!" I have had lots of bikes since, but I still wore out the KH anyway. It is just really fun to ride. I told the Mechanic, "Well, I had to rebuild it once, so I can do it again!" Over and over and over....
