Piston height

Anybody know what the piston height above deck is supposed to be on a KHK ? Thanks.

Same as KH... I did measure mine last year when building my supercharged version

Both pistons 60 thou above deck as std, heads, front 120 thou deep, rear 124 thou. So 60 and 64 thou of squish.

Skimmed the cyl bases by 20 thou to get pop up of 80 thou and 40/44 thou of squish...

No in a short answer,

Engine is partially dismantled at the moment to check how it coped, not bad...

Looking for clubs/organisations willing to let me have a go on their mile long races to tune it later on in the year...

As far as fine tuning, my fuel pipe was too small, did lean the engine a lot after 2 miles. Increased it from 3/8" to 1/2" and added an empty SU float chamber next to the S&S carb to have more capacity. Droped the foot pegs a touch for more comfort, new brake pedal, that's about it for physical mods...
