K model Petcock. What thread?

Hello all.

I only got out on the K a few times last year. The 1st ride the normal side of the petcock stoped working so i used the Reserve side the other times. Last night while preping for a maidan 2010 voyage to a local "Cruse Night" I foundf i now have no flow at all.
Last year i looked in to TT's repo units and eveyone said stay away you'll buy 10 before you get one that don't leak and the P4 gass will eat it too.
So questions are.

Whats the thread on the tank?
Is there an off the shelf valve that with screw on to the tank? Pingnel?

Not worried about showing it I'll keep the failed OEM for when i retire it to the living room in 30 years...
I just want something to turn the gas on and off.

If you can match it up to a hose barb you could run a on-off valve from a lawn mower supply house.They may have the fittings there also.

3/8 NPT male thread on petcock just incase anyone else runs in to needing the info.
