The seatpost is a modern KIT ( custom ) you will find in the V-Twin catalog . it has been créated for all softails .
it opérates with a hard and short spring inside ....on a travel of exactly 15 Millimeters :oops:
this kit is NO-Good for a rigid . but for a frame with shocks abs ; the résult becomes really comfortable .
TWO longs springs would have been more comfortable ....but the "look" is incorret for a harley.
anyway : this is the customer's choice . he WANTED this kit .

about the footshift : this is a common repop 45' footclutch changed into a footshift : remove all the hardware inside + the spring for let it opérating free ( some different thick washers needed ) add an ARM on the internal side . a linkage with two uni-balls . the small chromed arm on the gearbox axle is also from V-Twin : this is a part from a foreward pegs kit . the handclutch is the original 883 hugger , on the handlebars .
this modification really works perfectly !
and the left side look is perfect .

I SAY IT AGAIN : THE HANDSHIFT on the tank IS TOTALLY FAKE !!!!!! only here for déco !!!!

He looks like one happy owner. He needs to be holding a bottle of Bud instead of a glass of beer if he wants to commemorate Hollister. I'm sure he'll be happy with the scoot for many many years. You did a nice job on it Fran6

Looks good..Is this an 04 or newer with rubbermount ??

I never really got that jazzed over sportys. But this one is sweet...
