If enough people buy both kick and straight "Y" pipes, they can sell the one that doesn't work for their machine here, under the "For Sale" topic. There'll always be a style available, if someone needs one type or the other (providing the hub and spigot diameters are inter-changeable between manufacturer's).
:!: Careful when you cut-off material from the end of a header. Due to the countless angles of extrapolation (quantities beyond a known range of variables) created with all these pipe junctions, how it fits at present can change radically, when you start removing metal from the top of the hub (for instance, when removing excess "pinch-distorted" metal from the top of the hub slots).
