Trans sprocket nut

4 speed Pan tranny:
Is the big 1 7/8" transmission final drive sprocket nut a "righty-tighty, lefty-loosy" thread, or it is oposite like the clutch hub nut?

BenE' Per the pan service manual 48-57, Bend ear of lock washer away from flat of nut and remove sprocket lock nut and washer. Nut has left hand thread. Page 166 Good Luck Rigidscoot

Left hand thread. Turn the nut C.W. to loosen. C.C.W. to tighten, 120-150 ft. lbs. or with an air impact wrench until you see the sprocket assembly begin to compress as the socket starts rotating.
Rigid went right pass me.
