Panhead rocker shafts and blocks

Hi everyone. Does any of you Panhead guys know what the end play is? or should be ,on a new rocker shaft and block for a Panhead.
And,does anyone know of any possible way to fix excessive end-play on the rocker shafts? Thanks.

0,004"-0,012" I braze the blocks up a little on the side.

Is it just the top bronze block that you braze? Or the cast bottom block as well. Thanks.

Why not shim it ? Pa

Pa, it sure would be nice if you could shim it. The rocker and pushrod arm are permanently attached to rocker shaft,so there is no way to slide shim onto shaft,(like a shovelhead)

I braze up both to have an even sidepressure.
