I just got offered this Pan for $12,500 does it look worth that?

An assembly of various parts, but could be a nice rider. If you are not concerned with originality and are confident the work was done well, it seems to be a reasonable price.

I would be very surprised if you couldn't turn that over on Ebay for at least $15,000. Even if I didn't want the bike personally, I certainly wouldn't be turning it down ... I could always find something to find the $2500 on [/b]

Well CRAP!!... it was all a scam....

I had bid on this bike on eBay, I lost and rec'vd a Second Chance offer to buy it... turns out it was a scam. Luckily I got suspicious about it and contacted eBay Customer Service before acting on it.

Lesson learned, be very sure who you are dealing with.......

Seems like any timeyou bid on an item that sells for over 2000.00 you get these bogus "second chance" offers. E-bay needs to do away with the feature completely because it has become so corrupted. You have to be very, very careful buying anything off e-bay. Cash in hand for goods in hand.

I was gonna ask if that rig had just shown up on ebaY, last week?
I remember the wrinkles in the buddy. The stinking second chance scam crap is a load they should shed quick.

I have rec'd legit Second Chance offers, for simple things like spark plugs, but for high dollar items they all turn out to be scams. EbaY kills me when they note they can't respond to fraud reports. They might do something if trading slowed down to a drip.

I called their Customer Service number (toll free) and talked to a real person (for a change) and he confirmed that it was a scam. They were pretty quick in answering my questions this time. Maybe they are getting a clue...

oh please post this number...I cant seam to find it, it should be right at the bottom of the main page but aint....go figure.

some A hole stole my account, got that part fixed but it will not let me use my old email and I want them TO FIX THIS, this is many months after all the crap with paypal and EGAY,
Paypal tryed to tell me it was at my end.... "well dude my comp has been off line, and at 4:00AM you my put money back into my account, then at 4:45AM, they try and get into my closed bank account again."
I closed up the paypal account right then as I knew that the problem is/was comin from a bug in there own system, remember my comp. was off.
and I dont like egay for other reasons......
even if I hardly ever use it, I want them to fix the F-up problem they got started....
