Muffler Hangers

Installing dual exhaust on my 65 Pan, according to the parts book there are 2 part numbers for the hangers, one right one left and both use a spacer ? Found some in my stash , when mounted they either bend inward or out ward depending how you mount them, not sure if they're correct or the correct way they mount, to make things more intresting I found one that when mounted is straight but bends up or down ,, any ideas ? thanks, Tim

When looking forward from the rear wheel, the muffler supports:

Should point, Down and inward.

Got that George, turning in while mounting on the outside of the frame, appears the pre 65 called for spacers , still baffled with the 2 part numbers , thanks for the reply, Tim
