Shift lever profile

I am ready to send my shift lever out to get chromed. The bottom where the rod attaches is not flat, it curls up a bit.
The top where the knob screws on looks like the outward angle was messed with as well.

Does anyone have their shift lever off and could they post an image of it lying on it's backside so I can compare it's profile to mine ?

You are looking for a picture of the lever for a VL? Are you using the flatstock lever or the die stamped piece? I'll try to get a picture of each.
