1937 UMG

Can someone bring in a photo from a 1937 UMG model here?
There is a photo of them on page 168 of Hatfield's Inside Harley-Davidson.
I don´t have this book.

There is a photo of one in Palmer's book. Page 521. 74", 3 speed, right hand shift, magneto/generator. Basicly the specifications of an Indian motocycle that NYPD wanted. Harley built the UMG to the Indian specs and underbid Indian.
I believe Bruce may have a set of cases for one.

Chris, do you know is it the same photo in both books? A picture from the right side case ( idler stud area ) and cam cover inside woud be great. Routing from the front exhaust pipe over the magneto/generatot and between the frame tubes?

I found some UMG motor pics that I made awhile back before I had a digital camera. One shows the inside of the cam chest area and the idler stud boss. The other shows the inside of the cam cover and the offset idler stud support hole. I could try to scan these and attach them to an email for you. 'dog
