UL Gas Tank

The right side tank on my UL has a damaged outlet bung.Instead of having a taper to seal with the gas line it has been filed flat to the 1st thread. I want to run the correct steel line but 1st need to replace or repair the damaged bung.
Does anyone know if I can buy a new bung to replace the damaged one? or any suggestions on repairing the one that is there.

I would make up a teflon or similar material gasket, flat to the tank and a little taper to match the flare in the line. Can't see it and will probably seal better than original.
