The front brake sleeve on my BT springer has 2 shoulders cut into it. my understanding is that this is from a later hydo front end. It seems to work, but I would like to know if the seasonded wrenches out there think it would be better to change it out for the single shoulder (correct) type. Thanks, Randy

I would change it! Can't see how this (hydra sleeve)can be used and working on the springer. If I understood correctly...

I believe Palmer says the two are identical except for the second shoulder.

Palmer says... OK. I have to take a look at them both. Maby they are identical and you then can use it. I always go for the correct type to be used on the diffrent forks.

I stand corrected. Palmer says they are similar. What I want to know is if anyone knows if having the Glide one installed is OK. thanks, Randy
