andrews main drive gear

I had planned to buy andrews main drive gear for
my -46 UL 3speed+R transmission...but

Andrews web-page says they improved it with
wider drive slots and steeper lead in ramps.

Have anyone experience/knowledge can I use it
with original shift clutches?
I have to use original shift clutch because andrews
does not have that 3speed box mainshaft second gear
with those modified drive slots and ramps.

Andrews wont answer my question mail.
