Wanted 1940 or 41 UH or ULH Cases

A good friend in Australia is looking for some 40 or 41 H cases. Need a matched pair or complete bottom end for his project. He tells me that very few, if any of the 80" bikes were imported there. If you have and are willing to part with, for cash or trade please email. Thanks, Kyle

The factory made 92 of these models in 1939.
I have a matched set of 1938 UH cases total production was 108.
I think the guy in Austrailia is looking for cases with the 1940 UP main races.

i have no clue why anyone would be so specific cause the factory reccomendation was to bore the bearing race out of the earlier case anyway to install the later race

Tony is looking for the cases to build a motor to replace the 74" motor now in an existing machine. The chassis is a late 40-early 41. All he wants to do is install a legit 80'' motor in his bike because he believes that no or possibly very few 80" were imported to Australia. He is very active in old motorcycles and says he has yet to see one one the east coast. He wants to be the odd kid on the block you know. Thanks GT, for your reply on the 39 motor parts, looks like good stuff there.

Not that it helps your friend, but as production numbers have been given on 38's and 39's what were the production numbers on 37's? I've got a set of 37 ULH cases I've kept as backup all these years, now I'm curious just how many were made.

Dick. According to H-D´s "The Legend Begins" for 1937:

ULH 1,513
UH 135
UHS 400

I guess UH letters only on the UHS´es.

Rick Conner's Harley Davidson Data Book lists UH as 185 for 1937.
So a typo somewhere along the way.
Well here are more totals;
1940 UH 187, ULH 672, UHS 163
1941 UH 126, ULH 420, UHS 112
The point I failed to make but should have in My last was.
There were only around 698 UH models made in the 5 years produced!
