UL cams

I recently opened up a UL bottom halve and found camshafts of which the shafts were not removable.
Are these cams UL cams or are they VL cams?
If they are VL cams is the profile identical to to UL cams or can they be reground to UL spec?

VL cams have removable shafts UL cams do not.
I think that the later Vl cam profile is tha same as the UL but I am not positive.
Vl cams will not fit a Ul as the gears and shafts are different.

Over half of My 9 UL cam sets have removable solid shafts,
That are drilled and pinned with a round head Rivit looking pin opposite the cam lobe on the gear side.
I do also see tubular shafts that are integral to the gear/lobe with plug on end. Or half hole through.

Logic tells Me the early 1937 to 1939 motors used the hollow shafts.
I have 3 sets, One of each year, And I believe they came with the integral cam gear to shaft. I also see the idler gear drilled through on these.

Don I stand corrected.
I have nether seen U cams with removable shafts. I have a 1938 motor that has the integral shaft cams so felt confident in my statement that all ULs have integral shafts.
