Takes a lot to hurt the rod and crank bearings, I think those will go quite a few miles with no oil pressure. Hope you get it back on the road soon.

Another interesting find. On cleaning up the lower end parts for reassembly, I found that the builder I paid to do the work last time left the set screw out of the pinion shaft so that inadvertently I had sort of an end oiler. Got the wheels reassembled and trued yesterday. First time I ever tried that. It didn't go too bad other than a major workout lifting them from the lathe to the bench about 50 times to pound on one thing or another.
