Finally after 8 1/2 years, the Old Whore is finally running again. Fired her up yesterday. Started 1st kick and sounds really nice. Lots of small stuff to do yet before she is ready for the road, but I am stoked. If I did this right, there are a couple of pics. If not, I will try again.

OK, the pics didn't work. I got it once, but I think it was an accident.

hello Woody
What a nice flattie chopper!
What about the specs on this engine? Stroker wheels? I know you're into oil pump mods, right? Tell us more about your lady, please!

Thanks all for the positive comments.

The engine has stock stroke T&O wheels, stock rods, and .01 over 74 bore cylinders. I really wanted to go 88 inch stroker, but a lot of things got in the way over the years, so 74 is what I ended up with. It also has oversize valves, KNS medium grind intake cams and is heavily relieved. It has all the oil pump mods I have worked on over the years, and uses a Kehin CV on a fabricated intake manifold. 5 in 4 trans with disc brakes all around. It also has a dual point auto advance single fire timer with outside timing marks on the drive side.

Do the oil pump mods include piston squirters?

Yes they do. That was actually the reason for the oil pump mods. Testing showed that the stock pump did not put out enough pressure or volume to operate the piston squirters.

Hello Woody,
Great looking Chop! Are your cylinders genuine .010'' H.D. ,if so , have they been sleeved ?
I like that oil tank and belt drive too.

Thanks, HD. Yes the cylinders are HD and they have been sleeved. They were .050 over 80 and heavily scored when I got them.

Damn fine looking machine ya got there!

Someday, I will be hoping to finish up my flattie project...using tips and mods you and Frankenstein inspired me to use on my engine.

Again, good looking ride you put together.

I was just wondering about that bike. I can sure appreciate the work involved, I'm working like a dog just assembling a bike from parts, (some which were in or on the Old Whore at one time I believe) the fabrication involved with Woody's bike really blows me away.
