UL Cylinders

Hello folks. First post here so here goes.
The name's Andy and I live in England.
I'm cutting a long story short here but I've got a 1945 UL. It started running a bit rough and on investigation I've discovered whoever built the engine had
installed liners into the cylinders. ( Yeah, I know ! I've now got a three piece front jug !! )
Obviously I need to replace the cylinders so I'm looking for opinions on which way to go, good used ( are there any out there? ) S&S ( only available as 80 in so I'll need to change the carb? ) or "other" repops. I'm no stranger to working on old Harleys but I'd appreciate any input before I start spending money like a madman.

Buy the new S&S cylinders. Good used are hard to find and almost always have some trouble, bad guide holes, Deep cut valve seats, stripped headbolt holes etc. I wouldn't touch the India made cylinders.
