flywheel washers

Hello again....
a friend is replacing the flywheel washers on 2 good sets of UL flywheels....
the washers that we got as stock replacement turn freely in both sets.....
when measuring the old washers outer diameter ,all were between 53.20-25 mm outer diameter...(2.0944-0964 inch)
the replacement washers are 52.90mm ,2.0826inch.....
called the company that sells them and was told this is all they have,
has any one got a new or nos oem washer to measure ,just to check what the stock really is.....
would very much appreciate it,thank you for your time.........

Re: flywheel washers

The measurement you have from the original washers is correct. Eastern MC Parts makes washers with the correct outer diameter but the ID is big. I don't think that is a problem, later Harley wheels did not extend the taper into the washer area and just used the od for interference without trouble. Quality control has been a little lax lately at Eastern so if your friend has a dealer order them I suggest he gets a couple of extras.
