Oil pump stud dimensions

Hello All;
I want to make up a stud for my mate's 1946 U model flathead. It is the top rear stud that bolts on the oil feed pump. He tells me it has 1/4 X 20 tpi, one end, and 1/4 X 24 tpi the other end. Can some-one tell me if this correct, and also the overall length of the stud, and the length of the threads.

If that is what he has and wants......seems like a lot of trouble to replace the bolt that should be used there and is commonly available.

We thought it was a stud. How long is the bolt, and what thread???
