Teardrop Chrome Air Cleaner Kit

Chrome S&S Teardrop Air Cleaners features uniquely designed backplate with air horn style radiused entryway and the dimpled cover with the air directional cone inside. This design helps maximize air flow by giving intake air an efficient, easy path to follow into the carburetor. Increased air flow has resulted in an increase of two to five horsepower in S&S test bikes.

This kit is especially recommended if performance cams and exhaust systems have been installed. Reduced restriction of air flow may require that the stock carburetor be rejetted or the stock fuel ignition system be recalibrated to maintain the correct fuel air mixture.

Chrome teardrop air cleaner kit fits S&S L-Series and stock butterfly carburetors. This one will fit onto a 1966 - 84 big twin with 5 gallon tanks, and a 1966- 85 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® models.
