I also love basic design of the B. I took off the stock Harley carb and never looked back. Once the B was dialed in it never failed in any way. The only thing I did to it was an adjustable main jet, that's only because I live a nearly 4200 feet and almost every place from there is downhill. Great carb, thanks S&S.

This is truly a great but simple carb...no complicated stuff for me anymore...I've had a superB on my first bike in '89...ever since I ran everything from dell'orto, mikuni,SU,keihin and superE and-G-carbs...I learned one thing:the more stuff you have(pumps, needles, bearings etc) the more stuff can let you down.A good and well tuned superB will NOT let you down. Thanks to S&S for still(again) making it.

I prefer the Suber-B over the newer E and G models, because it has better flow and better low end punch. I am running the 0.031 intermediate and .070 main jet on my Twincam 88 and it is perfect. Once I pulled the same carb from my Twincam and installed on the Sportster 883. I thought it should need different jetting on the smaller engine, but no, it just worked perfect from the start. I am very happy that S&S still makes the Super-B, it is truly a great design.

I have used this carburetor for the last 20 years. So my review may be a little biased. This carburetor is one of the simplest and most versatile on the market. I have had them on 55 in. sportsters on up to 98in shovel heads and they deliver good power through all displacement ranges. However they do not have an accelerator pump. They are not a snap it open throttle. One must roll it on for it to work right. Fuel economy soley depends on how you jet it for your application and the size of your engine. Most all of my experience has been on the street with a small amount on the strip. These carburetor seem to handle all of today fuels well and are very easy to rejet when needed. Thanks for the opportunity to put in my Two cents. Speedy
