This S&S 450S cam is for 1978-1984 Harley-Davidson® big twin models. This cam is recommended for engines up to 88 inch with 8.5:1 compression ratio. This is a bolt in cam that provides good low and mid range torque solid or hydraulic.

Hydraulic tappets recommended. 1980-1981 engines require conversion to late style valve guides

I had a to end rebuild with S&S parts and switched my stock Harley cam on my shovel to an S&S 450S and it ran beautiful!
