565S Camshaft

This 565S cam for 1978-1984 Harley-Davidson® big twin models with big inch, high compression shovelhead engines. This is just the ticket for big, bad, engines like our 98 and 103 inch Sidewinder® Kits. 10:1 to 12:1 compression required. The long duration of this cam makes good top end horsepower. 3,500 - 6,500 rpm.

For solid tappet or may be used with modern high performance hydraulic tappets for shovelhead engines. Stock hydraulic tappets are not recommended. Valve spring spacing and other normal clearancing checks required. 1980-1981 engines require conversion to late style valve guides
