S&S® manufactures special cylinder head mounts that come in handy when the stock head mounts cannot be modified to fit those tall stroker motors.
This big twin mount is designed for rigid-mount 1948–'84 engines. It is constructed of bright, zinc-plated steel and provides plenty of heavy-duty support for performance applications. Its two-piece design permits the builder to attach the cylinder heads to the frame quickly and correctly, minimizing the possibility of broken crankcases caused by stresses resulting from poor alignment. Fits panhead and shovelhead engines with cylinders up to 5.750" long in 1948–' 84 Harley-Davidson® big twin motorcycles.
This is a direct replacement for Harley-Davidson® part numbers 16852-67A and 16853-48.
