Lighter and simpler than our previous valve springs, S&S Sidewinder springs are made from special ovate spring wire and have only one progressively wound coil. Since they do not add as much mass to the valve train as multicoil spring packs, they offer high rpm capability with less spring pressure for cams up to .585" lift.
