The S&S HL2T spacer is designed to limit the range of travel of the hydraulic tappet plunger in 1986-'02 Harley-Davidson® Evolution® big twin engines and Sportster® models. Although the S&S HL2T kit works great for stock applications, it is highly recommended for engines equipped with stronger valve springs and aggressive cam profiles.
