S&S .583 inch lift cam is optimized for use in the Softail® Dyna® lines. This cam makes horsepower and torque that you can feel all the way through the rpm range, making the most power right where you need it: 1500–5000 rpm.

S&S Chain Drive Easy Start Cams are a great way to increase performance at an affordable price, are installed in a short period or time reusing many stock components, and Easy Start Cams allow stock starter to start any engine. Can be used with stock valve springs.

583CE Cam kit includes cams, gearcover gasket, cam bearings, and instructions.

Fits 2007-Up Harley-Davidson® big twin and 2006 Dyna® models.

WOW!!! I added the 583CE Easy Start Cams, Power Tune Duals with SPO Mufflers, and Stealth Air Cleaner, with S&S Cover. Very good with no race tuner, but then with the remapping and race tuner, WOW! WOW! WOW! Awsome power and sounds great. Smokin the Competition

Review:

Put this kit on my 07 softtail Nighttrain and was very impressed with the horsepower and torque gain. The kit was put in over a year ago and I have no complaints. It does what they say it does, pulls hard from 1500rpm to 5000rpm. It is a great mid range cam. Has plenty of torque to get you moving and horsepower to keep pulling in higher rpms.

I used this kit in my 09 LowRider and I was very happy with the set of the pants power and torque gain. This is a very good choice for a camand it also has that big cam thump

just fired it up today. Need some tuning but the sounds is really nice! You need to check the end play on the cams, don't just whack them in.
