While developing the 41/8" bore series of engines, we found that having an easier breathing intake tract further increased its power output by 1–2 hp! Thus the Slasher air cleaner cover was born. Slots strategically cut around the perimeter of the cover allow a more direct path to the air filter. On top of good looks and better performance, the best part is that this quick swap will require no jetting change to a properly jetted carburetor.
Chrome Slasher® air cleaner kit fits Super E and G carburetors on S&S 4-1/8 inch bore engines. Fits 1984-'92 big twins, 1986-'90 xl, and 1999-'05 big twins manufactured after January of 2003.
