The 510G is designed as a bolt in cam for 88 to 95 inch engines with compression ratios below 9.7:1. Intended primarily for stock heads that have not been ported.

 

Can be used with stock springs.



Includes 510G gear drive camshaft set and inner gears, outer cam drive gear kit, and camshaft installation kit for 1999-2006 Harley-Davidson® big twin models (except 2006 Dyna®).

Tons of new power and I will never worry about those goofy cam shoes going out at any given moment.
No cam whine in my bike.
Its a shame the H-D factory doesn't put in gear drive cams like they used to.

I just put my second set of 510 g in another bike 2005 FXDC Tc88 The Best thing you can do to your Harley all you can want from stock heads and pistons nice power and the plus no more cam shoes !!!

Just finished installing this kit. Great instuctions, easy to follow. Love the new performance and never having to check a tensioner again !! The gear driven cams are the only way to go !!

This project was originally meant to replace the tensioners. The labor was pretty much the same, so the opportunity was there to also upgrade the cam and hopefully pick up some additional performance. What a surprise, it wasn't just a slight increase, but a huge difference, more then I could have hoped for. It gave me additional performance throughout the power band. For some reason, mine doesn't whine, just smooth and quite. I also used the adjustable pushrods. These were installed on my '03 EG TC88 engine.

Review:
The CAMS have a small whine at idle. Dyno results max power 77.75 and max torque 90.67; however the performance between 55MPH & 80+MPH is outstanding.(No more CAM tensioners to wear out!!)
