These heads for S&S 4 inch bore engines are machined with a modified "bathtub" style combustion chamber. These heads were designed for use with a flat topped piston, special S&S cylinders, and wider S&S special application crankcases. With a large "squish" area these heads create more combustion chamber turbulence, resulting in increased flame travel, fuel efficiency, and reduced knock. Fits 4 inch bore S&S V-Series engines.
